While you’re on the go, use KakaoTalk on your mobile to stay in touch with others. The KakaoTalk app is available for iOS, Android, Windows Phone, and other platforms.
When you are at home, use KakaoTalk on your desktop computer to stay in touch with others. KakaoTalk is available for Windows and Mac OS X.

Installing KakaoTalk on your Windows-powered PC is just the first step. If you don’t have a Kakao account, you must create one. And if you don’t have KakaoTalk on your mobile, you must install it. A setup wizard will help you install KakaoTalk on your Windows PC. After that you must log into your Kakao account and you must register your PC. A registration code will be sent to KakaoTalk on your mobile; use that code to register your PC.

You can customize KakaoTalk’s interface by changing the style, background image, opacity level, and fonts.
There are three tabs at the top of the application’s interface:
Friends – view a list of KakaoTalk contacts; add friends to the list; search within your list of friends.
Chats – chat with any of your KakaoTalk contacts.
More – view your profile, play with several settings, view a list of keyboard shortcuts, and more.

From your Windows desktop, you can access the following functionality: manage a list of contacts or friends; chat with any of your contacts; share multimedia content (photos, videos, documents) with your friends; lock your chats; do things more efficiently with keyboard shortcuts. All this functionality is offered to you for the great price of free.

When you’re out, you can stay in touch with others by using KakaoTalk on your mobile. But when you get home, you can enjoy KakaoTalk functionality on your Windows-powered PC.
